MiCultura awards winners of the First Black Age contest 2022

The first contest of the Black Age was organized through the Regional Direction of MiCultura in San Miguelito, where several local authorities participated in categories such as artistic projection, gastronomy, décor and costumes.
That contest was part of the activities scheduled to celebrate the Black Age Month and according to MiCultura regional director Raúl Wilson, the aim was to involve the Communal Boards in this type of activity, with the participation of 6 of the San Miguelito Councils.
The winners of the first version of the Black Age Month contest were the communal boards of Arnulfo Arias Madrid, Belisario Porras and Amelia Denis with the first, second and third place respectively.
The program had folkloric presentations such as the Pride Folkloric Set and Projections directed by teacher Elia Aspilla and the group Diggers Calipso Band, a musical tanda that was complemented with the sale of tidal and artisan food and drink and products.
