CELEBRAN 60 YEARS OF BILATERAL RELATIONS WITH FUNCTION OF PANAMY AND COREAN PLates

To celebrate the 60 years of diplomatic relations between Panama and Korea, the Gastronomic Festival was held, "Harmony between the Hannik and Panamanian cuisine," an event with an exquisite representative menu from both nations and held from May 17 to 19.
The event forms part of the different activities established by the Memorandum of Understanding agreed between the Korean Embassy and the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) to commemorate six decades, where both countries have shared a number of economic and cultural issues.
At this gastronomic festival the diners enjoyed an exquisite menu representing both nations, at which by the Panamanian side they outstanding the chicken and chicken rice, and the pint and milk and other, as well as from the Korean side, was the Gimbap, Japchae and Yakgwa. The latter that are traditional cookies.
The Minister and Vice-Minister of Culture Giselle González Villarrué and Gabriel González respectively as well as Korea's ambassador to Panama Jeong Jin Kyu have been the hosts of this activity and they have reaffirmed their commitment to continue to work together, with some projects currently under way and some that will be undertaken as part of the celebration of Diamond weddings between them.
