FIRE FROM THE BINCENTENARY TO ANDIER CRITOR VILLA

The Minister of Culture, Giselle González Villarrué gave to the writer Andrés Villa the first copies of the book "Relatos," a literary work that forms part of the collection published on the occasion of the Bicentennial of the Independence of Panama of Spain in 1821.
At the event of surrender, the incumbent of Culture recognized the contribution of the writer whom she saw as a "custodian of our panamenity" and urged him to continue his writing to leave a legacy for future generations.
The author Andrés Villa says that the work relates inputs from figure known as Bolívar and Santander, but also escapes characters, that, though fictitious they have to exist as the smuggler, the liberated slave and the watershed salesman, among others.
The printing of the work takes place under an agreement reached between the Ministry of Culture and the National Bank of Panama (BNP) to reproduce works with its contents relative to the 200 years of Spanish independence.
Erika Varga, manager of Culture and Community at BNP noted that the entity will always be ready to support these actions to preserve the accounts that are part of Panamanian history.
