With two stops on the path they served as "cultural oasis" to promote Panamanian customs and traditions and at the same time to promote economic reactivation among the artisan emphasized the participation of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) at the Grand Fund Cycling Challenge Panama that was held on Sunday 3 April.

The Grand Founding Cycling Challenge Panama had a tour that began at the Amador - Mira de Chicá Roof at Campana and ended at the Amador Roof with as points of hydration the Westland Mall and at the old toll point of the Arraijan - La Jorro Highway.

At these points promoted by MiCultura and the municipalities of Arraijan and La Chorro have been organized the "Cultural Oasis" with a presentation of folkloric ensembles with representative dances from Panama, "diablicos dirty" and Guna Yala dances that have been welcomed by hundreds of cyclists who have shared with the Panamanian of these cultural attractions.

On behalf of MiCultura, Deputy Minister Gabriel González stated that for the institution it's great "satisfaction to participate in the Grand Fund Cycling Challenge, which first takes place in our country, because we thus fulfill MiCultura's vision of recognizing that cultural rights are human rights."

"That great asset of Panama, with pride, we will exalt and share with hundreds of visitors accompanying us with the initiative of the" Cultural Oasis, "which are a significant sign of our customs and traditions," the deputy minister stated.

Isidora Yáñez, regional director MiCultura at La Chorro, emphasized the importance and benefits for artisan to combine cultural and sports because it's an opportunity to show not only customs and traditions but also to show tourist attractions such as Amador's and Campana's viewpoint at Chicá.
