MiCultura PROMOVE FESTIVAL FROM INDIVIDUAL LITERATURA AND AZUL CULTURE

On Saturday and Sunday, April 3, the Ministry of Culture has scheduled to conduct at Casco Antiguo two events aimed at children, such as the "Blue Culture" Festival and the third "Children and Youth Literature Festival," free for all.
The Blue Culture Festival will be held Saturday from 3: 00 p.m. to 7: 00 p.m. at Plaza de France in celebration of "World Autism Day."
The aim of this activity is to contribute to public awareness about the issue of "autism" and will serve to bring families together and give children with autism an opportunity to have fun and to exploit their social skills as well as to familiarize their talents and skills.
At the end of the afternoon, the headquarters building of the Ministry of Culture at Via España will be lit with blue, and will join the World Campaign: "Light it Blue" # LIUB or Spanish, "IluminaDeAzul," a campaign that will light with this color the iconic buildings of the world.
Meanwhile, the activity promoted by MiCultura continues on Sunday 3 April at 10: 00 a.m. with the third festival of children's and youth literature (FESTILIJ) at Juan Manuel Cedeño and Plaza de France.
During this event there will be sale and display of books, storyteller, bibliobus, children's theater, puppet theater, miscellaneous workshops, traditional games, music, dance, poetry and presence of children's book authors and at the end there will be a caravan of prints and posters.
MiCultura works for the well-being of children in partnership with Panama's National Library, Panama's Association of Lectures-APALEC, the Panamanian Academy of Children's and Youth Literature, the Panamanian Chamber of the CAPALI Book and the Carlos Francisco Changmarín Foundation.
Also involved are the Municipality of Panama, as well as with NGOs that support Inclusion and during these events will have sale of food as "Taste of My Barrio"; class of Zumba; paint face, inflatable games, sale of food sale of artisan products, exhibition of works of art and artistic and sports presentations on foot.
