Parks and parishes filled with Christmas Symphonies

The arrival of Christmas is one of the most important celebrations throughout the world, it's a time of family meetings and gifts, among other activities that are organized to share that joy that can be through art as currently organized by the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) through its addresses and regional.

The National Symphony Orchestra (OSN) conduct its traditional concert tour to carry these Christmas notes and share them with the audience that supported them throughout the year.

Parish and parks have been the perfect stage where the OSN has brought families together to conduct a pleasant moment of recreation and share a symphony repertoire of the most traditional villancas throughout the world and they are greatly liked by big and boys because of their stories.

The National Symphony Orchestra has been performing a series of Christmas concerts free of charge that have been initiated on December 2 at the Church San Antonio de Padua de Miraflores, followed at the Church Nuestra Señora de Lourdes, Parish Lord of the Miracles, Parish San Agustín Villa Zaita, Parque Andrés Bello, Parque Reativo Omar and will end at 22 at Parque Benito Juárez de El Carmen.

Each of the evenings this octagenary musical grouping performed famous Christmas melodies as: Passeig at Trineo, Frosty, the Snowman, Adeste Fideles., Bels of Christmas., The Tamborilero, Silent Night, Oh Holly Night, The Burrito Sabanero, Hark the Herald Angel Sing, Silent Night, Oh Holly Night, where some were accompanied by guest artist the Panamanian soprano Susan Samudus.

Ricardo Risco, director in charge of the OSN stated that "Panamanian people are eager to attend activities or events of good recreation for the whole family, and we are very pleased that we have been full with each of the presentations where the public sings and ovates each of the pieces, as they know applause is the food of the artists."

Jorge Ledezma Bradley, conductor of the orchestra, stated that "we are very happy because we are sharing an event that likes everyone, that's Christmas, that's the birth of hope, that's a time for renewal, to be able to meet with friends and families and share feelings of love and happiness."
