Cultural managers stand out at Bicentennial

In the framework of the commemoration of Panama's 200 years of independence from Spain, the National Government through the Bicentennial Commission, chaired by the Minister of Culture Carlos Aguilar Navarro, gave recognition to 18 Panamanian people who turn up as communicators and promoters of inclusive culture.

Mariela Sagel, Anna Eggan, Lorrain Washington, Luis Ricardo Rivera, Ricardo Ladera, Gloria Hall, Countess Flor María Muñoz Bañales, Sergia Pinzzo, Antonio Roberto Morgan, elfida Aguilar de Van Den Eyden, were the Panamanian people who were thought to be for the distinction of cultural management, for the programs, projects and events they conduct in each of the countries they reside and have been apprised of Panama's name abroad.

At the same time, César Sanjur, Roosevelt De Icaza, Fabiola Sánchez and Nuvia Cañizales have been distinguished from his and her profession and have been charged with a number of jobs from his place of contact to his and his head of news Section and his cultural issue has been his priority and his reports have highlighted his and his programs, among other things, his cultural diversity.

While his work with promoting Inclusive Culture and Visibilization of People with Disabilities resulted in Fanny Wong, César Barria and Juan Dolande (Juani).

With regard to this tribute, Carlos Aguilar Navarro, Minister of Culture and president of the Bicentennial Commission, told them that these recognitions "were decided and voted in the commission with the unanimous vote of all members, because we had to honor those who deserved them and you for their contributions from the different occupations of what they each have earned to make their homeland every day with their actions and how best to do so at this bicentennial celebration."

"Each of you makes a homeland in every activity, have been so far and we are sure that you will continue to do so, because you love Panama and want to see a prosperous, consolidated country with a better distribution of its wealth that will finally value its diversity as a more inclusive country. I urge you to continue to build that better planet, that best country from anywhere in the world," added Aguilar Navarro.
