Filling with joy and steps in Panama at Salsa 2021

The third edition of "Panama in Salsa" that was part of the activities to celebrate the Bicentennial of Panama's Independence of Spain, closed with success and brought together for two days the Salsa lovers at the Villa Lucre Sports Complex.

The public enjoyed a high-height musical repertoire with the best national salsa orchestras, accompanied by beautiful dancers.

The Yaré Orchestra began this show and dedicated his presentation to master Miguel Ángel Barcas negra, known as Meñique.

Salsa Project group greatly liked by the attendees shared stage with the child Ismael Tenorio who performed with the orchestra, the "Murga of Panama." Ismael thanked the Ministry of Culture and Salsa Project for the opportunity to sing at this festival.

The "Indestructible" Orchestra performed themes by artists such as Titus Rojas, Tony Vega and other famous salsers.That orchestra was created during a virtual pandemic.

Known for issues such as "The Unconditional," "I fall in love" "again" and Wishes, "Pototo Duran and his White Arena Orchestra charmed and became part of this salsa party.

The "Orquesta Sociedad Anónima" was closed at night and his public was pleased with known and contagious pieces.

About this festival, Culture Minister Carlos Aguilar Navarro said that "we are very happy to conduct this event. We see many families, many people of all ages and that's what this event's about, share and enjoy."
He added that the festival has the peculiarity of living another two-hundredth day of the Republic commemorates the date and that "a deal, a hand and music are the best fund for rejoicing."

For his part, Héctor Valdés Carrasquilla, Mayor of the San Miguelito District expressed that "what's happening here you and I are living with. Today's a special day, it's salsa day let's enjoy and dance at this Bicentennial celebration."

"San Miguelito is a district with its faults and virtues, pro development, pro-country and all together here we will continue to work for the district that we all deserve," added Carrasquilla.

The complex was adapted for families to share within their family bubble in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.

The Orquestas that participated during the two days were Society Anonymous, La Kshamba, Víctor Jaramillo, Arena Blanca, Son de la Calle, Salsa Project, Tributo 507, Orquesta Indestructibles, Chispa, Orquesta Yaré, are the artists invited to the two day event.

Panama at Salsa is an initiative to support and promote the national artist and offers entertainment to hundreds of Panamanians.

That event was with the initiative of the National Government through the Ministry of Culture, Alcaldía de San Miguelito and José Domingo Espinar's Communal Board.
