SPC and ARAP seal partnership for economic reactivation

On behalf of the National Government, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), as a mediator, has reached agreements for collective management and commercial sector entities to advance their economic recovery.

The Panama Society of Authors and Composers (SPC) and the Association of Restaurants and Purpose of Panama (ARAP) have established a Convention of Mutual Collaboration with Concessions of Rates Applicable to restaurants, similar and / or similar with public communication.

In addition to strengthening the massive licensing process of members of this organization with a duration of five (5) years from 1 January 2021 to 31 December 2025.

Both, Sergio Cortés for the SPC and Domingo De Obaldía for the ARAP, expressed his satisfaction as after many years, criteria for the benefit of the members of both organizations could be united, thus pondering the efforts made through MiCultura's Office of Copyright.

Minister Carlos Aguilar Navarro expressed his satisfaction that the cultural entity has been an enabling factor for both parties to have been as difficult as that of the planet as they are living, and have been able to agree and to be united to reactivate and continue to work together with all sectors of the country.
