The Minister of Culture Carlos Aguilar Navarro welcomed Portugal's Ambassador to Panama, S. E Gonzalo Teles Gomez with whom he had an opportunity to discuss actions to strengthen ties and to establish work relations and cultural cooperation bilaterally.

Following his thank for his visit, Minister Aguilar Navarro stated that his aim will be to learn from the European country, with a great deal of knowledge about issues such as "library management model, connectivity, museums, patronatos, public private figures, creative industries, crafts, training and training."

For his part, diplomat Teles Gómez stated that Portugal "has the capacity, knowledge and positive experiences that we wish to share, get to know Panama more and that Panama knows us better."
"We are ready to work together, what follows is to set up a script in different priority areas," Ambassador Gómez added.

The meeting was attended by Yessenia Sánchez, Special Projects Director, Linkh Montenegro, Intangible Heritage Director, Daniel Dominguez, National Director of The Arts, Eliette Apolayo, National Assistant Director of The Arts and Cristina Rodriguez, Head of International Technical Cooperation.
