The Ministry of Culture through the national direction of the arts gave 100 copies to the winners of the national prize for literature Ricardo Miró 2020 as required by the competition's bases. 

He responded to the Minister of Culture, Carlos Aguilar Navarro, and gave his first print edition to the winners of each of the contest's categories.

The writer, Indi Lucía Pereira Solís, with his play "Awakening at Abyss," was present while Domingo Dominguez received his first copies of his novel "Lo Blanco and lo Negro" representing his winning author Emiliano Pardo Tristan.

The works were also given to the Winner of the genre essay Luis Pulido Ritter with his work "A Transatlantic Journey America, Africa and Europe (negatives relative to the criticism of Eurocentrism in modernity)," that was received by Anais Moran.

Javier Medina Bernal's winner of the genre I have the play: "The Codula of My Mother and Other Tales" and Actor Prieto in the genus Poesia with his work "To the Unbeatable Yours," although they were not present, they will also get the prints.

From date onwards, reading lovers will be able to acquire these works at the bookshop, The Writer's House of the Ministry of Culture located at the Chat Arco at Casco Antiguo.

The incumbent of Culture announced that these works will be part of the collection of books from the Reading Centres that are currently being put into the recordments that are part of the Colmena Plan that the National Government promotes. 

For his part Daniel Domínguez, National Director of The Arts emphasized that "with this surrender, we are complying with what was stated at the bases of the oldest art contest in the country and these books will increase the literary collection of Panamanians."
