MiCultura reaches the figure of 100 reading centers delivered

The Vice Minister of Culture (MiCultura), Gabriel González, opened seven Colmenan Reading Centres on Friday in Reforms of the District of Las Minas in the Province of Herrera and thus completed the first hundred of the target of 300 scheduled by the national government.

In the process of opening up an end to the local authorities of each correction, Vice-Minister González invited the population, especially children, to make use of the books that have been submitted by the Ministry and that have been winners of different competitions.

The day began with the opening of the Centre at the El Chumical correction, with about 2,000 inhabitants with Ezekiel Gil, an alternate representative on behalf of the main Antonino Rodriguez, to thank the national government for his consideration of this area with a view to setting up a Colmenal Reading Center that will give new knowledge to children.

Later, Vice-Minister González, who was accompanied by the regional director of MiCultura at Herrera, Francisco Ureña and support personnel, moved to the headquarters of Las Minas where his centre was disturbed at the Municipal House in the presence of the mayor of the District, Rigoberto Díaz and the young Luisa Pinto on behalf of the Representative, Luis pinto, who were excited and pleased to have this information tool.

Also, the Books and other tools for the Reading Center were delivered at the Reforms of El Toro, Lions, El Cyprian and Quebrada Del Rosario.

The vice minister's day of work and his comitiva concluded with his rectification of Chepo, where with his representative's company, Luis Murillo gave up his area's centre and completed his hundreds of these spaces.
The National Government through MiCultura has set itself the goal of bringing knowledge tools to the most poverty-stricken cordments in the country and that do not have the ease to have access to formal libraries as in urban and semi-urban cordments.
