As part of the National Government's goal for the Colmena Plan in Cultural Materials, the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) opened two new reading at the Chifree and Caimitllo Reforms in the North Panama Sector.

The Vice Minister of Culture, Gabriel González, responded and opened these two new spaces that complete a total of 86 hive reading centers at national level and have been prepared 518 mediators to attend them.

The journey that began with the community of Calzada Larga and Yadilka Cortez, through the H.R. of the correction of Caimitllo, Rodolfo Prescilla, thanked MiCultura for their consideration for the installation of a Colmena Reading Center.

In his speech his deputy minister González urged children and adults to visit the centre and share with their children the reading of 120 donated books, all of them from Panamanian authors.

At the site, children from the community read little stories, a narrative that was heard by the attendees and that motivated recognition by the deputy minister.

While at the Chifree Reg, H.R. Yoira Perea called on children and youth to make more use of book reading and leave some technologies.

For his part, Gabriel González invited parents to enjoy with their children reading, as reading "makes us dream, makes us imagine, gives us more knowledge and helps us improve grades at schools."

Both co-ordinations trained twenty (20) reading mediators, who also received recognition from the deputy minister, who reiterated them to promote more people have access to them in their neighborhoods.
