with national ballet presentations, MiCultura celebrates dance day

With his stage performance of his classic "Sleeping Beauty" by the National Ballet of Panama, on April 29 and 30 and will be broadcast by SERTV's screens and by MiCultura's networks at 8: 00 p.m. the celebration of "International Day of Dance" continues.
Thus, the Ministry of Culture, through the National Ballet of Panama, culminates the week with the celebration of April 29th, date chosen by the UNESCO in 1982 to dedicated to the dance in honor of the nancy of the French dancer and choreographer, Jean Georges Novre.
The celebration of this date began from April 23 with a number of activities such as the presentation of the National Ballet at a gala called "Las Estelas" at the Balboa Theater with the presence of about 300 viewers.
That's the first presentation by a group of dancers from the National Ballet after a year of being out of stage by the pandemic.
On the other hand, Panama's National Executive Director of Ballet, Gloria Barrios emphasized that the ballet's back to stage and that dancers are eager to show their talent and joy at every performance.
Barrios added that two other presentations have been scheduled in May at the same stage as well.
The Foyer of the National Theater also set up an exhibition of the Nobel works of the Roberto Lewis contest.
Also, Renan Fernández, from the National Section of the Arts, organized 4 important virtual dialogues about dance as a social instrument, inclusive dance, Ibero-American dance and an artist's law with international exhibitors.
