Museums of MiCultura will have free entrance with booking

The museums of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) at national level have been opening their doors since March 6 and have been free of charge to national and foreign visitors and have been complying with all biosecurity measures established by the health authorities and as part of our campaign "MiCultura Segura."

Through the Cultural entity's website, www.MiCultura.gob.pa., in the museums Section, the public can book his visit from Tuesday to Sunday according to his or her interested museum so that at the same time they can have an assigned guide and conduct his or her tour for free.

The Museum of Religious and Colonial Art has been arranged at the museums and have been available from Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6 pm, while those same days, but from 8am to 4pm, we can visit the Afro-Antillano Museum, Fabio Rodriguez (Herrera) Museum of Penonomé (Coclé), Archaeological Museum El Caño (Coclé), in the province of Los Santos we have found the Belisario Porra Museum, Casa Paulipo, Museo de La Naturality and Museo Manuel F. Zárate from 8am to 4pm.

On Tuesdays to Saturdays from 8am to 4pm, you can conduct your tour through the Regional Museum of Veraguas, Regional Museum Stella Sierra (Aguadulce), Petroglifo Archaeological Park and the Julio Gómez Ruiz Museum, both in the province of Chiriquí.

Together with the Red de Museos (@ reddemesseopma) and Centro de Visitantes de Panama we continue to update other venues of interest for them to be visited as the museums of Contemporary Art (MAC), of the Order of La Merced, Botones Destro, Biomusé, Ricardo J. Alfaro, and Nispero among others.

That re-opening reactivated another area of cultural industries, as well as tourism, that were affected by the pandemic and under the measures of self-care and that will be offered at these cultural venues, visitors through their corridors, can enjoy a different atmosphere full of much learning and re-living important events of our history.
