MiCultura and IFF Panama sign Cultural Cooperation Agreement

The Ministry of Culture and IFF Panama signed an agreement for the conduct of the virtual project "Cinema es vida en casa 2020," the first international festival of virtual cinema in Latin America.

Carlos Aguilar Navarro, Minister of Culture, reported that this Cultural Cooperation Convention aims to provide the IFF Panama with the necessary logistics and technical and institutional cooperation for the implementation of the project "Cinema in Life at Casa 2020” through the conduct of film cycles and stimulation activities, through a strategic and participatory partnership between the IFF Panama Foundation (FIP), the BID Lab and MiCultura project.

Under the project "CIEN IS LIVE IN HOUSE 2020", the IFF Panama Foundation will conduct the contest "Humanity in Virtual Reality ". It's a call, with the IDB Lab Project, to select three audiovisual projects intended to project in Virtual Reality. The call will be open to professionals from the Panamanian audiovisual industry and will have an award for SIETE MIL BALBOAS (B / .7,000.00) That will be divided among the three winners.

"Cinema is Life at Casa 2020" It will run from September to November 2020 and will continue with the goal of film and talk films with directors and filmmakers, enabling them to expand their knowledge and conduct of their films.
