MiCultura celebrates its first year with a Panamanian-style musical fusion

With a virtual solidarity concert at Covid's time, Israeli musician Amir Gwirtzman this week opens My Culture's program at home 2.0, from 8: 00 p.m. through SERTV's screens and the Facebook and YouTube Digital Platforms of the Spanish Ministry of Culture of Panama. 

The presentation board for this week includes from Salsa concerts, Night of Troopers, documentaries and varied events that you can enjoy in the comfort of your home. 

On Thursday, August 13, we began with the good music of an Israeli multiinstrumentalist artist Amir Gwirtzman and his show "Inhale-Exhale," presented by Israel's embassy in Panama. Gwirtzman is an Israeli musician, who dominates more than 20 wind instruments, a specialist in the spread of jazz and fusion-related rhythms, most of them with wind tools, his musical style is inspired by jazz, R & B and different sounds and cultures of the world.

The night of Friday, August 14, will be a moment where you will be able to dance and enjoy the best of the Cuban Sonero Luisben Silva and his sonometer with his prodigious voice and one of the best exponents of the Salsa genus in Panama. "Solinka" the great Panamanian gardener with great success as "Lágrias Negras," "Obsession," "Son de la Loma" among other issues that will lead you to the past, enjoying to the best from beginning to end.

In the framework of the First Anniversary of the Law that MiCultura creates, we celebrate it with best Panamanian style on Saturday 15th August, at a Night of Trovators from the village of El Limón, in the Santa María District, Herrera Province, with Armantito Aizphua and Raquelita Castillo.

On Sunday, August 16, we will close this weekly MiCultura program at home 2.0 with the interesting Documentary "An artery of the Empire," produced by Uninorte referred to as the world became global, showing the process and results of the project that has been researching about the first globalization that happened in Panama during the 16th and 17th centuries.
