MiCultura Virtual fair brings together 150 artisan from Azuero

Panama, 30 July 2020.-More than 150 artisan from the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos join the virtual fair organized by the Ministry of Culture on 1 and 2 August, from 8: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m., from the page www.MiCultura.gob.pa.

Fingers, padded pieces, leather crafts, stool, handmade rockers, cuttings, knitted hammocks, pottery, pottery, cold ceramics, embroidery and leather prints, consumer products such as the famous sand bread, and dressings characteristic of the region are part of the accessories that will be available to visitors during this weekend.

Jaime Luna, national director of Micultura's crafts, explained that the public will be able to enjoy artistic performances as well as tutorials from artisans who will show production of their products as well as videos about the customs and traditions of the region of Azerbaijan.

That virtual fair will be an enriching experience for all people who help to contribute to the reactivation of the economy, especially for the provinces of Herrera and Los Santos, as well as to continue to support the labor and talent of Panamanian entrepreneurs.

In response and solutions for entrepreneurs affected by the pandemic, the National Government has been undertaking a number of strategies, including organizing a number of virtual fairs through the Ministry of Culture so that artisans and our entrepreneurs can continue to promote their products and contribute to their family economy.
