My Culture at Casa 2.0 Launches New Season

The National Government, with a view to bringing entertainment, fun and cultural expressions to families for all Panamanian people, launched "MiCultura at Casa 2.0" as an initiative that supports patio artists, valued and applauded by their noble work as they give their talent in this fight against covid.19

For this new season, My Culture at Casa 2.0 will have the participation of ten-year-old trovators and composers who from different provinces of the country will be cheering with singing sessions and from the Balboa Theater will be performing circus and theater performances, concerts with typical and popular genres artists that will be seen by Panamanians from SERTV, RPC television and digital platforms.

Kenny and Kiara, Miguelito Rivera, Artemio Varga, Nigga, Luis Lugo and la Orquesta 507, La Kshamba, Los Beachers, Los Rabanes, among other great exponents of Panama's music and culture will be accompanied by Panamanians at their homes with a series of concerts from 8: 00 p.m.

Carlos Aguilar Navarro, Minister of Culture, says that "The intention of this initiative by the National Government, through the Panama Solidario plan, is to give peace, entertainment and emotional well-being to the public, so that they are quiet at home with the activities we have prepared at the Ministry of Culture with the support of SERTV."

"Cultural activity has never stopped at quarantine, and with our allies we have been trying at this time of distance to share with the audience the contribution of artists, folchlorists and the Panamanian cultural sector, who have been united and have shown empathy while being a hit sector, because at this time we have been constantly leading to the comfort of all households with the best of national talent," the Minister added.

For this weekend, the audience will be able to enjoy duo Kenny and Kiara, talented youth from the town of Las Tablas that merge typical music with other genres such as reggae, curved bolero, among others, followed by nights of trovators, with Cantaderas in tribute to Santa Librada and Santiago Atitol, recorded from iconic cultural sites of the country, complying with all the health standards indicated by the Ministry of Health.

Also, on Sundays, MiCultura at home 2.0 will dedicated its program to cinema and theater, among other events.
Another novelty that My Culture brings to Casa 2.0 is the format of "Cantadera por Rotias," shows at a mobile stage, in streets and parks and reaching communities inside the country bringing good folk music to Panamanian without them leaving their homes.

These programs can also be seen from the social networks of MiCultura on Youtube and Facebook, by SERTV, FM National Radio, and chrysol FM and broadcast with the support of 20 stations throughout the country.
