MiCultura holds first virtual fair of visual artists

Panama 10 June 2020.-The Ministry of Culture will conduct the first version of the National Virtual Visual Artists Fair to be held next Saturday, June 13th and Sunday June 14th, from noon to 7: 00 p.m. from www.MiCultura.gob.pa

Daniel Domínguez, National Director of the Arts of the institution, explained that with this innovative initiative we seek to use technology as the main ally to collaborate with artistic creation and what offers the Internet to help the visual arts sector at these sensitive times.

The fair will be attended by teachers and students from MiCultura's schools of artistic education and will also feature the participation of disabled artists and members of the Panamanian Association of Plastic Artists.

Dominguez indicates that the visitor will be able to enter the website of the Ministry of Culture, at which will be found the link that will lead him to the gallery of more than 80 participating artists and from their respective Instagram accounts you will be able to see technologies, sizes and prices of the works.

The aim is for an artist to have a space to share and sell his work to the public and will also be an ideal opportunity for Panamanian families to have a place for national art.

To date we can confirm the participation of artists from the provinces of Panama, Panama West, Veraguas, Chiriquí, Bocas del Toro, Darién, Herrera, Colón, Guna Yala, Coclé and Los Santos as well as the Emberá community.
