MiCultura invites to discuss copyright and intellectual property

Panama, May 7, 2020The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) invites you to participate in the "Copyright" event, to conduct this Saturday 9 May, from 4: 00 p.m., through the Youtube and Facebook channels of the cultural entity.

Experts in the area of intellectual law will be sharing with the public the importance of copyright and intellectual property in the economic and cultural development of our society.

They participate in the activity Norma Milena Buendía, Cultural Manager and Specialist Consultant in Intellectual Property with 22 years of experience, Militza Mavel Pérez Pimentel, an industrial engineering graduate from the University of Technology of Panama with more than 15 years of experience in the collective management of copyright and related rights and collective management, usually co-ordinating with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

The event will be led by Carlos Oriel Wynter Melo, an advisor at the Ministry of Culture, a Panamanian writer and editor, who presided at the Panama Society of Editors and Authors.
