Panama, 24 April 2020. The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) invites Panamanian and Panamanian people to share with all the writers and writers of the country with a number of virtual cultural activities with which they can participate from their homes, in this quarantine period by COVID-19.
The national director of the arts of the Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), Daniel Domínguez, stated that this week has been of rejoicing and motivation to the artistic community of the letters, for the celebration of the Day of Book, of Copyright and of the Language, events relevant to the local cultural agenda.
Now, the celebration of the day of the writer and the writer was chosen to pay tribute to the birth, at Taboga Island, of the writer Rogelio Sinan, one of the most important writers that his country has had, as she was a storyteller, novelist, playwright, essayist, literary critic, journalist, teacher and so forth.
For his part Priscilla Delgado, a Panamanian writer, extends his congratulations to Panamanian writers while expressing that "the words of a writer put into a book have the added value that they are computed by those who read it. Fortunately after this pandemic the word will be followed, will be written otherwise, poetry will be reflected with far more pain, other essays will come up but the word will never die.
From MiCultura, we invite you to share with social networks by referring to @ miculturapma his photographs with Panamanian writers. They have to indicate information about the image: the name of the complainant, where she was, if you remember, what that complainant represents for them. They can also participate with an image of the cover or reading a fragment of your Panamanian author's favorite book.
