MiCultura launches second module of the virtual course to write, publish and sell books

The culture ministry launched the second module of the Escrube, Publica and Vende course, which aims at enabling interested public to conduct his narrative paper as a book.

Carlos Oriel Wynter Melo, an enabler of this dynamic and representing the Ministry of Culture, expressed his appreciation for the Panamanian interest in supporting his initiative, and his first two days exceeded his expectations with more than 750 visits from new prospects.

At this opportunity, through the second module, we explain what the essential difference is between the writings of fiction and non-fiction and we teach how to distinguish the tale and the novel (narrative and fiction genres), which does not depend on the extension of its text as widely believed.

Wynter Melo adds that this module will list the parts of the essay and article (non-fiction narrative genres) and finally models are put forward to structure the storybook, novel, essays or articles. The third module of the course will be available in the next few weeks.

The modules appear on the MOA's page and require no registration. Just come to www.MiCultura.gob.pa or to the MOA's Youtube portal and participate to learn how to write, publish and sell your narrative.

"Let us use this time to get to know our new literary talents, who in their free time and through the pandemic we are living in, can participate, finish and have an opportunity to market their books through the Internet with the support of the Ministry of Culture," reiterated the course's facilitator.

The situation we have been through with the Coronavirus puts us at a crucial moment where we have to give our hands to those who need them most, including the formal and informal sectors of culture, the fine arts and entertainment that require our attention within the Panama Solidarity Plan.
