MiCultura Reacts to Decree about events with agglomeration

Panama March 14, 2020. The Ministry of Culture reiterated its compliance with the provisions of the Government of Panama through Executive Decree 472 of 13 March 2020, which lays down in its article 2 to suspend all forms of activity, events and events with an association of people.
In that respect, Minister Carlos Aguilar Navarro recalled that fairs, congresses, cultural, religious, sports, public holidays, dailies and concerts throughout his national territory are suspended.
Social events are exempt from this suspension, as long as they do not exceed 50 people and sports events with an explicit authorization from the Ministry of Health.
"Taking into account this health situation, it was decided to suspend activities at agglomerate locations, including sports sites for about a month, that are met on April 7, which is also the date suggested by Cabinet Board to the Ministry of Health as well as the review of risk situations to be able to work with the containment of the virus," said Aguilar.
