MiCultura successfully inaugurates International Exhibition "Feel Do"

Panama, 9 March 2020The Juan Manuel Cedeño Gallery was the perfect stage for bringing together a group of plastic artists living in the United States and Mexico, each with different artistic motivations.

The advisor to the Minister of Culture, Pedro Baeza, was to open an artistic proposal by Seven Plus One Art Projet "Sensier el Haga," a project by artists living in the United States and Mexico.

Emilio Héctor Rodriguez, founder and artistic director of 7Plus One Art Project, expressed his assistance and information about this project that brings people from different cultures, ethnicity, experiences, generations, genres and religions together.

Some of the artists have been formally trained in the history of Visual Art and Arts while others come from different professional fields.

Resident artists who participated in the exhibition:

Bibiana Cervantes (Colombia), Carmen Verdura (Spain), Emilio Héctor Rodriguez (Cuba), Fanny Karchmer (Mexico), Karina Matheus (Venezuela), Mila Hajjar (Italia- Venezuela), Marilyn Valiente (Cuba), Maruchi Carmona (Cuba), Pao Sánchez (Argentina), Pedro Hernández (Cuba).

The guest artists are the Panamanian Mai Yap and Luis Aguilar Olaciregui.

Mai Yap is an artist, instructor and consultant of Chinese-Panamanian art, that produces innovative high quality paintings that bring happiness and ecological awareness.

Luis Oracciregui, Panamanian was a student at the National School of Plastic Arts in 1958 and graduated with his honor. He has followed a long and adventurous process, always remarkable for his commitment to his research will, with a precise line of continuity.

They were visual arts lovers, special guests, students, teachers, national and international artists and the media.

That's an exhibition account with 24 collective and will be open to the public up to March 16 from 8: 00 a.m. to 4: 00 p.m. 2020.
