MiCultura gets exposure from "The woman at the Polish poster"

Panama, 4 March 2020. - The creativity of Polish artists who pay tribute to women will be shown up to March 20 at the lobby of the Ministry of Culture through the exhibition "Women in the Polish poster," organized by the Embassy of the Polish Republic in Panama.

His Excellency Leszek Bialy, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Panama, at his opening of the exhibition, stated that the show reflected a meaning and a story of our artists thinking about women, in commemoration of International Women's Day, March 8.

"What we are trying to say through images and what's important about them is that we love women in Poland and that's why we are one of the countries with the least gender violence and where we respect equity in leadership jobs," emphasized the Polish ambassador.

Gabriel González, Vice Minister of Culture, noted that this art show is an initiative we share with embassies to continue providing spaces for art and in this case to give visibility to women as an engine of artistic inspiration, sharing the equal world we deserve.

"We will continue to support all cultural initiatives, and communities and organisations to achieve a more inclusive environment and with access to a number of cultural events," the Deputy Minister reiterated.

The exhibition is free and will be available from Monday to Friday from 8: 00 a.m. at 4: 00 p.m. at the headquarters of MiCultura at San Felipe, Plaza de France.
