A public of all ages enjoyed an afternoon of "Health with Ritmo and Art"

The project called "Health with Ritmo and Art," organized by the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture and the Panamanian Institute of Sport, and with the support of the First Lady's Office, started with "good foot" on Saturday 25 January, where hundreds of people met at the Momo of Omar Park to enjoy an afternoon of "healthy living."
Talks about balanced food, weight and height measurements and vaccination sessions were part of the program of this fair event that had Dr. Octavio Sousa's advice known as Dr. Fit with his presentation "Living more and better, that's most important for all," who shared that oxygen, water, healthy food, exercise, rest and positive attitude are the six elements that will make us stay healthy.
Medical personnel from the Ministry of Health put at their disposal basic photographs such as sarampion, tetanus, chickenpox, pneumococcus and hepatitis as well as free HIV tests, while students from the Inter-American University of Panama (IPU) offered advice about daily portions of food to be consumed to get adequate nutrition.
The music band of Chepo's firemen, with cheerfully tuned Panamanian tipples put up the rhythm to give good and good to personalities from the fitness world and Jovana Velarde with his Salseando routine, Camilo Banda with reggae Cardio, Algis and Deivys Lara with a rhythmical session and aerobic instructor Kathia Thomas, all with extensive experience have been exercised by public of all ages.

That inter-institutional synergy, as part of the actions of the good governance plan to combat poverty and inequality, that put into place policies concerning women, children, youth, older persons, persons with disabilities, Afro-panamians, native peoples, culture, sport, environment, housing and urban development.
