MiCultura conduct actions to include people with disabilities in cultural spaces

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura), through the Office for Equal Opportunities, organized a guided tour to the Afro-Antillean Museum of Panama for 14 children and their families who belong to the "Mother Warriors" movement, celebrating International Museum Day and the Black Age Month.
Children with colorful attire enjoyed this activity as part of MiCultura's actions to include people with disabilities in cultural spaces, as are museums.
Veronica Forte, a member of the Society of Friends of the Afro-Antillean Museum of Panama (SAMAAP), gave a workshop to visitors about how to place the turban and its meaning.
The "Warrior Mothers" movement led by Veruschka Grajales gave recognition to MiCultura for his commitment to inclusion and support families with children with condition and disability.
The "Mothers Warriors" movement works for the integration of children with neuro development and disability challenges in search of an inclusive culture.
