< strong > They approve party moves to advance at TransStatic Colonial Roads and the Colón's Center for Art and Culture < / strong >

The Ministry of Culture (MiCultura) was welcomed by the National Assembly's Budget Commission that approved two departures for the cultural entity with an overall sum of 2,692,030.00.

The incumbent of MiCultura, Giselle González Villarrué supported before the Budget Commissioners, that one of the starting moves, that's by order of 471 thousand 579 pat will allow to continue with the jobs that we "do at the Royal Castle of San Lorenzo and Portobelo and that are part of the Transistmal Colonial Route (RCT)."

According to González Villarrué, the funds will be used for jobs that have to do with the "diagnosis, study, design and development of plans for mitigation to the risks of paddle movements or slides at Portobelo intended to preserve the heritage."

The Budget Commission also approved a second starting move by an order of 2 million 220 thousand 451 pits to pay outstanding accounts from 3 to 31 December 2022 and related to the construction work of the Center for Art and Culture in Colón that previously was the headquarters of the Abel Bravo College.

González Villarrué told the Commissioners that this colonial cultural centre already goes beyond 60% of construction and could be delivered in the next few months.
