The Vice Minister of Culture, Gabriel González met with representatives of 49 communities of the Guna Yala Region to discuss several proposals for economic growth in this region and the possibility of creating a framework convention for cultural cooperation between both parties.

In the meeting, representatives of these communities proposes to the cultural authority, the creation of an leadership of indigenous affairs within the ministry, the construction of an artisan market and the initiative for the creation of the nagua museum.
