Advances inter-institutional committee for development of Portobelo and San Lorenzo

باناما، 28 آب/أغسطس 2020.-The leaders of Culture, Carlos Aguilar Navarro, from Ambiente, Milciades Concepción, and the Vice Minister of Territorial Planning, José Batista and the General Director of the Tourism Authority of Panama, Ivan Eskildsen, presided at the first regular meeting of ministers and authorities of the Inter-Agency Committee for the Integral Development of Portobelo and San Lorenja Minister Counsellor, with the participation.

The inter-institutional committee aims to consolidate actions, that will enhance government efforts in a single direction, is a product of the Tourist Cabinet held in the province of Colón last year, that allowed to come to important agreements, that from date will formalise the actions that the National Government has outstanding in the area of Portobelo and San Lorenzo.

He responded to ministers Carlos Aguilar Navarro and Milciades Concepción to open the meeting and to cover the agenda of issues to be highlighted at this meeting among officials of the Executive through programs and projects with the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB).

وشدد أغيلار نافارو على أهمية المساهمة في الحفاظ على الشهر التاريخي لبورتوبيلو، وتطوير الهياكل الأساسية والخدمات اللازمة للاستخدام العام والتعليم البيئي، وتطوير الخبرات السياحية التي تصبح مشاريع محلية في إطار الاتفاقات وتنفيذ المبادرات التي اقترحتها اللجنة.

وتحقيقا لهذه الغاية، تشارك وكالات من قبيل الهيئة الوطنية لإدارة الأراضي، وأمانة الرصد والامتثال، والهيئة البحرية لبنما، ومصرف التنمية للبلدان الأمريكية، في الجهود الرامية إلى رعاية المجتمعات المحلية من أجل تحسين نوعية حياة السكان من خلال إدماج المؤسسات والمنظمات والمجتمع المحلي.
